Shelly Bolton-Walden, LMT
| Shelly
provides massage therapy, myofascial release, sports massage therapy, and neuromuscular
therapy. Myofascial release helps to relieve tensions around and between connective
tissue, while sports massage helps athletes in their warm up and cool down activities,
improving recovery time and enhancing performance. Neuromuscular therapy improves range of
motion and promotes efficiency in muscles and their nerve connections. Shelly is a licensed massage therapist and developmental gymnastic
instructor at the Healing Arts Center. She graduated from Inland Massage Institute in
Spokane, WA and specializes in clinical massage, performing therapeutic massage,
lymphatic drainage massage, and
accelerated massage therapy. |

In addition, she has trained in
British Sports Therapy Massage with Stuart Taws and Neuro-Humoral Massage, Russian Massage
by Kinnard Seminars. These forms of massage work well for injury prevention and recovery,
chronic pain, headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, whiplash, TMJ, stress reduction, neck and
low back pain, sciatica and general well- being.
Shelly also does LaStone
Therapy, using warm basalt stones and cool marble to relieve
muscular aches, assist relaxation, and promote healing.
Additional treatment modalities that Shelly uses in her practice
include BodyTalk and
Reiki.
