Returning to the West Coast, Jenna completed her Internship as well as her Family Practice Residency in Portland, Oregon. She is board certified in the specialty of Family Practice.

The training offered at osteopathic medical schools includes all of the areas that MD's learn, and expands it to include the relationship between the musculoskeletal system and the rest of the body. Osteopaths learn to see the whole body as a functioning system, with all parts working together to achieve health.

When asked about returning to Colville, Jenna replied, "After spending many years in the Midwest and throughout the country completing my education, I have realized that Northeast Washington offers me what few other areas can boast.  The small size and sense of family within the community are very important, as well as the many outdoor opportunities and natural beauty.  I look forward to reentering the community and expanding connections that began during my childhood.  Colville made me who I am, and I look forward to giving back to this community."
