Tension headaches, migraines, and cluster headaches may have distinct differences, but the contributing factors often include emotional stress, sinus or ear infections, dental abscesses, complications from root canals and extractions, or structural factors ( including TMJ dysfunction, misalignments of the spine, cranial, and first rib.)
