Fibromyalgia syndrome encompasses a variety of symptoms , including pervasive muscle and bone pain, numerous areas of localized tenderness, tingling of the extremities, irritable bowel symptoms aggravated by deviation from a carefully-monitored fibromyalgia diet, sleep disturbance, etc.  It  typically defies a simple diagnosis and treatment plan. Complementary and alternative medicine both  see  these fibromyalgia symptoms as often related to adrenal exhaustion, intestinal yeast overgrowth, food allergies, and nutritional deficiencies or intolerances. Life stresses and various toxicities (mental, emotional, environmental, and even ‘hereditary’ in origin) may be additional underlying causes.

Homeopathic remedies, herbal therapies, various methods of bodywork, and other natural, holistic treatment approaches at our clinic seek to address the hidden source (s) of the fibromyalgia symptoms.

If you are suffering from fibromyalgia, your physician or therapist will discuss a variety of treatment modalities to find and treat the cause(s) of the pain and discomfort. Recommendations may include one or more of the following therapies:

  • Allergy and sensitivity elimination (NAET, BodyTalk)
  • Homeopathic, isopathic and herbal detoxification programs
  • Traditional Chinese Medicine including herbal prescriptions and acupuncture
  • A choice of several emotional release methods to deal with underlying stress
  • Herbal remedies
  • Therapeutic Massage and Acupressure
  • Physical Therapy
  • Hanna Somatic Education
