Chronic pain and pain management has long been a major challenge to any physician or pain clinic using Western medicine, which relies heavily on pharmaceuticals for pain management and relief of symptoms. The effective treatment of a painful syndrome involving the back, neck, or myofascial tissue in any part of the body may ultimately seek to control the pain, but the approach of alternative medicine is to center on finding and treating the cause of the problem.   By incorporating a variety of natural healing modalities to correct the source of the chronic pain, the symptoms may thereby be alleviated.

Chronic pain, including arthritis, fibromyalgia, back pain, neck pain, and sports injuries may be related to toxicity from agents such as heavy metals, pesticides, petroleum products, previous viral, parasitic, and bacterial infections. Toxicity may be viewed as mental, emotional, environmental, and even ‘hereditary’ in origin. Nutritional deficiencies and intolerance's may also create or aggravate chronic pain of the back or neck. While pain management is an essential component of treatment, our overall goal is to offer healing at all levels of body, mind, and spirit.

If you are suffering from chronic pain, your practitioner will seek to identify the most probable underlying cause(s) to help you decide on one or more of the following therapies:

  • Homeopathic, isopathic, and herbal detoxification programs
  • Allergy and sensitivity elimination (NAET, BodyTalk)
