In rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, or osteoarthritis, the symptoms include painful, swollen, or stiff joints. Bone deterioration in rheumatoid arthritis is caused by an autoimmune inflammatory condition in which the joints are attacked by one’s own antibodies. The condition known as psoriatic arthritis is a rheumatoid-like arthritis that follows the appearance of psoriasis, a chronic skin condition that causes red patches covered with white scales, usually on the elbows, knees, scalp, chest, and buttocks.  Finally, osteoarthritis may result from injury, overuse or wear and tear.

To relieve the discomforts of arthritis most effectively, treatment must focus on underlying causes and prevention of further damage. Leaky gut syndrome, hidden food allergies, parasites, and antioxidant deficiency are important factors to evaluate in a treatment program for this debilitating condition.

The pain of arthritis may sometimes reflect toxicity from agents such as heavy metals, pesticides, petroleum products, and previous viral, parasitic and bacterial infections. Toxicity can also be mental, emotional, environmental and even ‘hereditary’ in origin. Our goal is to offer healing at all levels of the body, mind and spirit.
